What To Expect

REACH Elite Volleyball Club | Clermont, FL

AAU & USAV Competitive Program

Trying out for a club team is an exciting step—and we’re here to make the process clear, competitive, and encouraging for every athlete.

A HIGH-ENERGY, PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT

From the moment athletes walk in, they’ll experience a structured, fast-paced tryout led by experienced coaches. Our goal is to create an environment that reflects the level of our program—organized, competitive, and focused on development.

SKILL EVALUATION + GAME PLAY

Players will be evaluated across all core volleyball skills, including:

  • Serving consistency and control

  • Passing (serve receive) and ball control

  • Setting technique and decision-making

  • Attacking (approach, timing, and power)

  • Defensive movement and court awareness

Athletes will also participate in live game play, allowing our coaches to evaluate:

  • Game IQ

  • Communication

  • Hustle and effort

  • Team chemistry

POSITIONAL + TEAM PLACEMENT

We evaluate athletes both individually and within team systems. Players may be grouped and rotated to ensure fair evaluation across multiple positions and lineups.

Our coaching staff is looking for:

Taking the next step into competitive basketball starts here. Our tryouts are designed to challenge athletes, evaluate performance, and identify players ready to compete at a high level.

A COMPETITIVE, HIGH-ENERGY ENVIRONMENT

From check-in to final whistle, athletes will experience a structured and fast-paced workout led by experienced coaches. Expect intensity, organization, and a true club-level atmosphere.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT + EVALUATION

Players will be evaluated across key basketball fundamentals:

  • Ball handling and control under pressure

  • Shooting mechanics and consistency

  • Passing, vision, and decision-making

  • Defensive stance, footwork, and effort

  • Finishing at the rim and scoring ability

Drills are designed to simulate real game situations and test performance under pressure.

LIVE GAME PLAY + COMPETITION

Athletes will compete in controlled scrimmages so coaches can evaluate:

  • Basketball IQ and court awareness

  • Ability to play within a team system

  • Communication and leadership

  • Hustle, effort, and competitiveness
